The Ranchers are all about relationships.  We develop quality young men on and off the field.

"Phil Apostle and the Ranchers helped me get where I am for sure. I started with the program at around 13.  Phil set up college visits and helped me through the process.  The Ranchers was the most fun I ever had playing baseball. I can honestly say that without Phil and the Ranch, I wouldn't be where I am today." -- Daniel Woodrow, Creighton University OF, Drafted by Detroit Tigers in 2015

"Whether you need to work on your swing, create a sound approach or just need a laugh to keep it loose when you're grinding--Phil always keeps it real.  I highly recommend the Ranchers program and the coaching I got there."-- Charlie Tilson, Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Cardinals

"The Rancher organization does things right. It's not just teaching--which they do well.  What they do at a very high level is prepare young men to be successful in life. The organization receives my highest endorsement. Our success rate with Ranchers is ridiculously high." --Michael Deegan, Denison University, NCAA Coach Of The Year 2018”

“Coach Apostle holds his players to very high standard. While doing so, he encourages us to learn about ourselves as player—but as people as well. Playing for the Homestead Ranchers was one of the best decisions I ever made.” — Jacob Newman, Collegiate Pitcher & Staff Ace

With over 200 players taking the field at more than 75 different colleges since 1998, Phil Apostle has become one of the most successful on field coaches and player advocates in the Midwest.  He is the founder and "Trail Boss" at The Ranch.  A scouting professional with National recognition for expertise in player development, he builds relationships with players and families that often last a lifetime.

The Homestead Ranchers are dedicated to providing the best environment for a player to reach his potential.  Positive feedback, useable instruction of the game and opportunities for a young player to develop are the keys to Ranchers Baseball.  Relationship building and trust are of top priority within the organization.  The Ranchers have won 133 tournaments in the past decade, including 3 National Championships at 18U.  Our 17U "Texas" Club has received National recognition for excellence both on the field and in the classroom.  To date, 4 out of every 5 members of our Texas Club has received a collegiate offer.

We will field as many as 2 clubs at our 15U-18U age levels if enough talent is present to provide competitive integrity. We will not ever field more than ONE team at any pre-HS level as players require more instruction.

We will never offer more.  This ensures you will receive the attention to detail your development will require.
